Joining Information
You are eligible to join Level 100+ if:
- You are employed by the Company (i.e. BAE Systems or any other employer who participates in the Scheme) and you are age 16 or over and are under age 64
- Your contract of employment says that you are eligible to join Level 100+
New employees
Permanent Employees
Joining Level 100+ is not compulsory but, if you are eligible, you will automatically be entered into Level 100+ when you join the Company. You will be asked to complete a ‘New Entrant Form’.
Fixed Term Employees
If you are employed on a Fixed Term Contract,membership to Level 100+ will not be automatic. You will need to request scheme membership via the completion and return of the ‘New Entrant Form’.
Exisiting employees
If you do not join Level 100+ immediately, future entry will require the specific permission of the Trustees and they may impose certain restrictions and conditions. You should contact the Pensions Service Centre if you wish to apply to join Level 100+ later. They will send you a form to complete and advise you of the process. The final date entry will be allowed is 31 March 2012 as this section then closes to new members.
