This section contains the latest minutes and archived minutes for the Southern Area Consultative Committee.  These can be viewed via the BAE Systems intranet only.

The Northern and Southern Area Consultative Committees exist to discuss pension issues that have arisen and to exchange views on items of a more general interest to members of the BAE Systems Pension Scheme and the 2000 Plan. Member Representatives are elected by the whole in-service membership of the two schemes.

The maps indicating the Nothern and Southern Areas current representatives can be downloaded below. The next elections for Member Representatives to the Area Committees will be in 2010 for the BAE Systems Pension Scheme and 2009 for the 2000 Plan.

For the BAE Systems Pension Scheme there is also the Central Pensions Consultative Committee (CPCC). This committee meets centrally and is made up entirely of 12 representatives from each of the Northern and Southern Area Committees. Its function is to examine and present the views advanced from the Area Committees in matters of general interest or concern to the BAE Systems Pension Scheme and its operation. The CPCC elects six of its members to serve on the BAE Systems Pension Scheme Board of Trustees.

The 2000 Plan Representatives also meet on the 2000 Plan Central Pensions Committee and elect three of its members to serve on the 2000 Plan Board of Trustees.
