2000 Plan Consultative Committee

A random set of BAE images A consultative process exists within the 2000 Plan to promote a good understanding of pension matters. The Central Pensions Committee is made up of Pensions Representatives who are elected by the membership of the 2000 Plan to represent the pension interests of all 2000 Plan members.

The function of the consultative committee is to:

  • Represent the views of 2000 Plan members in consultations with Group Pensions and the Company on matters relating to the 2000 Plan.
  • Assist Group Pensions and the Trustees with the communication of information to members of the 2000 Plan.
  • Nominate three employee representatives and one pensioner representative from the committee, for appointment to the Board of Trustees as Member Nominated Trustees.
